Time to wake up people.
For the remainder of the week we'll be talking about the above event, and what preceded it.
It's not going to be pretty, it will make some of you angry, and some of you will think that Misplaced has lost his fucking marbles.
Not by a long shot.
To get the ball rolling, we're going to start with Misplaced In The Midwest's Special West Coast Correspondent, The Dog Soldier.
The Hard Swallow: Fascist Fact or Fiction?
Afghanistan, the reality behind the myth - Part 1
It is a widely held belief in the United States that the people of Afghanistan are responsible for 9/11. Many others similiarly believe that it was a terrorist faction, known as the Taliban, led by a man named Bin Laden which was responsible for the "attacks" of September 2001. In fact most Americans fall under one of the two belief structures. After all, its what our "Democratic (Fascist) government led us to believe with repetitious, non-factual reporting (brain washing) on the nightly news broadcasts (propaganda). These facts (lies) have been shoved down the throats of our genetically altered corn fed citizenry and they wash it down with a super sized, atrifically sweetened beverage made from fluoridated water (population control).
Confirmed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation: There is no hard evidence linking Bin Laden to 9/11. Bin Ladens wanted file does not even list him as a suspect in the attacks of 9/11/2001. Bin Laden himself denied responsibility for the attacks in a statement to Al Jazeera. This was later confirmed in a seprate interview with an Islamic newspaper. In the newspaper interview Bin Laden denied any and all responsibility for the attacks again. He did however suggested a possible alternative explanation for the attacks:
"The United States should try to trace the perpetrators of these attacks within itself; the people who are a part of the U.S. system, but are dissenting against it. Or those who are working for some other system; persons who want to make the present century as a century of conflict between Islam and Christianity so that their own civilization, nation, country, or ideology could survive. They can be anyone, from Russia to Israel and from India to Serbia. In the U.S. itself, there are dozens of well-organized and well-equipped groups, which are capable of causing a large-scale destruction. Then you cannot forget the American-Jews influenced by the Israeli Zionists, who are annoyed with President Bush.
Then there are intelligence agencies in the U.S., which require billions of dollars worth of funds from the Congress and the government every year. This funding issue was not a big problem till the existence of the former Soviet Union but after that the budget of these agencies has been in danger. They needed an enemy. So, they first started propaganda against Osama and Taliban and then this incident happened. You see, the Bush Administration approved a budget of 40 billion dollars. Where will this huge amount go? It will be provided to the same agencies, which need huge funds and want to exert their importance. Now they will spend the money for their expansion and for increasing their importance.
I will give you an example. Drug smugglers from all over the world are in contact with U.S. agencies. These agencies do not want to eradicate narcotics cultivation and trafficking because their importance will be diminished. The people in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration are encouraging drug trade so that they could show performance and get millions of dollars worth of budget. General Noriega was made a drug baron by the CIA and, in need, he was made a scapegoat. In the same way, whether it is President Bush or any other U.S. President, they cannot bring Israel to justice for its human rights abuses or to hold it accountable for such crimes. What is this? Is it not that there exists a government within the government in the United Sates? That secret government must be asked as to who carried out the attacks."
Does bin Laden have reasonable cause to believe that either intelligence agencies, groups within the United States, certain Zionist Jews or a combination of these, are responsible for the attacks? It can not be denied that there is a historical precedent for this either. Israeli intelligence agents have committed terrorist attacks on the United States and even on Israeli citizens before and tried to blame these on Muslims. One example is an operation called, Operation Susannah, also known as the Lavon Affair. Another is the attacks on the USS Liberty. Although this is officially still described as an "accident" the American servicemen who survived the attack and the families of those murdered by our "ally" would beg to differ. Israeli politicians themselves expressed their feelings about 9/11 as well, by saying that the attacks were good for Israel. Amongst them are such prominent people as Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Project for the New American Century (PNAC) was an American think tank based in Washington, D.C. that lasted from early 1997 to 2006. It was co-founded as a non-profit educational organization by neoconservatives William Kristol and Robert Kagan. The PNAC's stated goal was "to promote American global leadership. Fundamental to the PNAC were the view that "American leadership is both good for America and good for the world" and support for "a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity." The PNAC exerted influence on high-level U.S. government officials in the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush and affected the Bush Administration's development of military and foreign policies, especially involving national security and the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars. An internal PNAC document; Rebuilding America's Defenses, also illustrates the need for a sudden crisis, to execute their agenda. The exact wording is: "Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event––like a new Pearl Harbor. Moreover, as America becomes an increasingly multi-cultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstance of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat."
Members of the PNAC think tank included Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Paul Wolfowitz. Cheney himself shares in the responsibility for the attacks. The US airspace is supposed to be protected by an agency named NORAD. NORAD should have been able to prevent the planes from crashing into their targets. However, on 9/11, Cheney was directly informed of the state of the hijacked planes, and ordered NORAD not to intervene.
The same names have a tendency to pop up everywhere. Henry Kissinger who served on the Pentagon's Defense Policy Board Advisory Committee under PNAC member Richard Perle also headed the 9/11 commission until he was forced to hurriedly resign due to conflict of interest issues perventing him from being considered impartial. Another member of the 9/11 commission was John F. Lehman, Jr, who happened to be a member of the PNAC think tank as well. I would argue there is a bit of a conflict of interest there aswell but who am I? People who write about wanting to conquer the Middle East and feel there is a need for a catastrophic event to allow this to happen, should not be the same people who investigate terrorist attacks, that are blamed on people living in the Middle East. Furthermore, the writings of said persons should not be used as evidence and justification to invade the fore mentioned region. But that is exactly what happened while the population chanted, USA! USA! USA! all the while.
We'll be picking this up tomorrow with some of my own research, and next week we'll publish Part 2 from The Dog Soldier.
